Why Shift to Our Meals?
The pet nutrition world is complex and will all the diverging view and theories out there, there is a lot of misinformation. When it comes to pet diets, we believe that the healthiest food for our pets is easy to identify - just as for us humans- a diet which is unprocessed and in its natural form.
We have listed below the top reasons (of many!) as to why you should consider shifting your pet to a whole food diet.

A raw diet is a natural diet
Dogs have descended from wolves and while many pets look very different from their ancestors and live in our homes without the need to hunt for their meals, their bodies have not changed from their decedents. Dogs are biologically designed to derive their nutrients from raw meat, organs, and bone; their body is built to process them. To the contrary, their bodies struggle to digest and pull nutrients from ultra processed kibble and canned food which contain synthetic fillers, preservatives, meat byproducts, and even denatured meat, none of which do good for our dogs’ digestive systems. The best way to ensure that our furry friends are getting the nutrition they need is by feeding a high quality balanced raw diet of fresh foods - a species appropriate diet.

better quality of life
As with humans, the food our dogs consume directly impact their quality of life. Food is our pet's fuel and what they ingest has a massive impact on their health functioning. Whilst we do not have full control on our pets health, what we decide to feed them certainly is within our power. To support health, a nutritiously rich diet that is well-balanced and biologically appropriate will allow our companions to be their healthiest selves.

Longevity
We want our pets to be with us for as long as possible. Pets with healthier bodies live longer lives. Correct nutrition for our pets is an investment in their health and longevity. Feeding a nutrient dense diet which is well-balanced is one of the best investments one can make for their health.

better behaviour
We are aware that physical health has a direct link to mental health. Research has proven that imbalanced gut bacteria in a dog’s microbiome can lead to negative consequences in not only their physical health, but their mental health as well. It has been evidenced that behavioral problems like aggression or anxiety can result from an unhealthy digestive system, the result of a poor processed diet.

reduce allergies & health problems
Our pets are unique with their own traits and preferences. Some dogs experience allergies whilst others face health conditions. By feeding dry kibble or canned food, pet diet customisation is not possible specifically in view that one cannot be entirely sure of the ingredients within such food. With our human grade meals, you can rest assured that each ingredient is of highest quality. Whether you have a dog with food allergies or medical problems, we can help give your pooch exactly what they need whilst eliminating what they don’t through the purest of fresh food.
