NOTE

For long-standing or severe anxiety, reactivity and stress, the remedies typically need to be continued for 3-6 months or more, until any improvements seen become firmly established.

It is important to be aware however, that not every dog will respond to the remedies, as the causes of stress / fight-flight behaviours are many, and it is not possible for a single product to address all of these. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

• Is this product good for keeping a pet calm whilst moving home  and if so does it need to be given before the time for it to work as in a few weeks?

Ideally it is best given for as long as possible before and also after what may potentially be a stressful event such as moving home. With this in mind give 1 - 2 drops twice daily as previously described in the run up to the big day, and continue for several weeks afterwards. Also sprinkle on bedding and in safe places.

 

• How long does this last?

Giving 2 - 3 drops 3 times daily, and sprinkling a little on bedding daily, it will typically last around 6 months.   

 

• Would this be useful for a dog that is grieving the loss of a canine companion?

Yes, it would, as it contains botanical extracts which help the release of sadness and depression associated with the loss of a close friend. Give 2 - 3 drops 3 times daily on a teaspoon of fresh food, until normal behaviour is resumed. 

 

• My dog has been attacked a lot, and it happened last week again. He has been really jumpy since, on walks. Would this product be useful?

The best combination here is Ultimate Anxiety Relief (UAR) and PEA. The former UAR will help with the anxiety related to the attack, while PEA has a calming effect. Both can be used for as long as it takes for the issues described to have fully resolved. 

 

• I have a dog with very high anxiety. He has bitten me on numerous occasions excessively barks. Would this product  help him?

The best combination of supplements in these circumstances is Ultimate Anxiety Relief (UAR) and PEA. Both act on the calming centres in the brain (in different ways) to gradually reduce anxiety / reactivity and increase receptivity to learning new, healthier patterns of behaviour. The effects are cumulative and so it is important to continue both for at least 12 weeks alongside positive, reward based training before gauging their effect. Both supplements can be used long term. Do also consider changing diet as feeding carbohydrate and sugar rich food can also adversely affect mood and behaviour.  

 

• Would this be suitable for a 6 month old puppy?

Yes it would. 2 - 3 drops 3 times daily on a teaspoon of fresh food for as long as is needed for new, healthier patterns of behaviour to become second nature. 

 

• Can this product be given alongside your other products as well as prescribed medications like antibiotics, gabapentin and Amantadine ?

Yes the reedy can be given alongside all our other products, any medication prescribed by your vet.
