Balanced meals in line with NRC
The 80/10/10 (BARF) ratio is a common model used by raw food brands. We believe that in the majority of instances such ratio diet leads to deficiencies in a number of essential micro and macro nutrients including vitamin e, zinc and iodine.
That is why each of our meals is catered to cover nutritional requirements in line with the National Research Council for dogs and cats (NRC) which has established minimum and recommended allowances for essential nutrients to maintain optimal pet health.
Any supplements utilized in our recipes are from human grade brands that operate in an FDA certified facility and are GMP certified. These brands are subject to third party purity tests and clearly provide nutritional analysis on their products. Supplement doses included in mixes have been calculated to ensure that these provide the essential nutrients required to meet optimal health without exceeding Safe Upper Limits as established by NCR.
