THUNDER AND FIREWORKS is a specially prepared blend of botanical extracts which relieves anxiety in noise sensitive pets.

 

DIRECTIONS

Give 2 - 3 drops on teaspoon of fresh food 3 times daily throughout the firework season (October to New Year), or for as long as necessary to desensitise to loud noises and bangs.

Can be given every 30 minutes if needed, when storms or fireworks are especially distressing.

Also sprinkle liberally on bedding.

Avena sativa, Passiflora, Scutellaria lateriflora, Valeriana officinalis and Yellow jessamine

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

• In preparation for fireworks nights, does this product need to be taken in advance for it to work?

As a general rule, although it can provide significant relief at short notice, the remedy becomes increasingly more effective the longer it is given. If time allows therefore, it is best started 2 - 3 weeks before the firework season begins, and continued throughout firework season. 

 

• Can this product be used long term? My dog has major motorbike sound reaction.

The remedy can be used for as long as it takes for desensitisation to noises triggering anxiety and stress to occur. Important for a successful outcome, is giving the remedy 3 times daily (2 - 3 drops on a teaspoon of fresh food - not kibble) alongside positive, reward based training until the desired behaviour being taught has become firmly established. 

 

• How does this product work?

• How often in a day can I give the fireworks drops please? Is it best to give the PEA too? 

In the run up to the start of the firework season give 2 - 3 drops of the remedy 3 times daily on a teaspoon of fresh food. Thunder and Fireworks can be given hourly or half hourly during peak firework periods to further ease anxiety and stress if needed. If a pet has previously become very anxious during the firework season giving PEA is highly beneficial, as this acts on the calming centres in the brain to further reduce sensitivity to loud noises and bangs.
