Is feeding half kibble and half raw beneficial?

Whilst this can be done, to experience the full benefits of a clean raw whole food diet, we recommend to only retain a mix of kibble and raw diet at transition stage. We highly encourage introducing a diet which is fully raw.

How much raw food should puppies eat?

Daily feeding amounts for young puppies should be split into 3-4 meals daily for optimal nutrient absorption. Puppies which are older in age can be fed a decreased frequency of 1-2 feedings daily. As puppies' growth rate slows down, their metabolism stabilizes. Initially, puppies need more food to support rapid growth and energy demands. As they near adulthood, their energy needs decrease, and they only require 2-4% of their current body weight to feed.

Puppy Age % of current body weight
0-4 months 10% - 8%
5-7 months 8% - 5%
8-10 months 5% - 4%
11-14 months 4% - 2%

Can bones be fed to puppies?

Yes, you can feed raw bones to your puppy, but start with softer edible bones such as chicken and turkey bones. We always recommend teaching puppies to properly chew prior to giving any whole bones. We also recommend monitoring your puppy whilst chewing on bones. Selecting the right raw bone for your puppy is also very important. Make sure to select an appropriate bone size.
